How to clear or delete old vSAN partitions on decommissioned hosts
For those of us that needs to build and tear down clusters all the time for demos or lab testing, turning vSAN Services on and off is a common occurrence. When you re-enable vSAN, you will notice that under the tab to “Claim Drives” you may or may not see any drives to be available.
This is because, when you Disable vSAN Services, it doesn’t remove/delete those previous vSAN partitions. So you must first clear all partitions to refresh those drives before it can be again re-used by vSAN.

How to setup vSAN without vCenter? VCSA may be your answer
It is quite an interesting topic this one.
As some may know, setting up a new vSAN Cluster requires it to be done from vCenter. But what if it’s a greenfield deployment, how do you actually do this?

Redefining Hyper Converged Infrastructure
Hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) first came to market about a decade ago, positioned as enterprise storage that is largely defined by software.

What’s the buzz with hyperconverged and vSAN?
Traditionally, datacentres have always been designed in a silo manner where each silo represent a specific technology - storage, computing and networking. Each aspect of these technologies require different hardware, skillsets and operations. Naturally, this translates to greater capital and operational expenditure, which will hamper companies in staying ahead of the curve.
